Maral is an Iranian-Canadian artist who began painting at 18. With a background in graphic design, she creates expressive acrylic works that often portray women with closed eyes, symbols of silent strength and resilience. Through her art, Maral shares stories of women’s endurance, capturing both their struggles and their grace in timeless form. Exhibiting at Canopy Studios is a meaningful milestone in her journey, as she is grateful for the opportunity to present her work in a space that supports artists and welcomes the community to experience these stories.”
